Lifestyle Balancing, Restoration and Exercise (Part 3 – Exercise)

Exercise is a great stress reliever and one of the best practise to improve health and strength. There are many types of exercise that an individual can have on a routine basis. Types of exercise can be brisk walking daily, yoga, qi qong, swimming, outdoor climbing and jogging. The selected type of exercises can varies but the most important aspect of having a discipline of going to have any form of exercise is a routine to maintain so that our body circulatory and respiratory system will improve and when we sweat, toxins is eliminated from our body. Exercise does not only tone our body muscles but also activate our lymphatic system to be active and thus can do its main task of elimination of toxin from our body system.

Exercise will also keep our weight in order, vitality, awareness to be on upmost scale of being active and agile and we are able to maintain our health without much complication. Exercising involves muscle movements which also improves our body’s lymphatic system function to eliminate toxic and waste material.

Of course we don’t recommend that after an exercise routine, the person will go have a very cold drink and have a heavy meal with it – which actually creates the build up of toxins due to heavy indigestion because of having a very cold drink with hot food, which is a wrong combination which will cause indigestion and mal absorption if your stomach digestion is slow, which can lead to fermentation of food in our digestive track which can cause other complication of acid reflux, stomach cramps and bloating.

Yoga is part of Ayurvedic healing of our body and mind and there are poses that can be learned to prevent certain illnesses. Regular yoga practises helps to improve the body mobility and does slow down the pace of degeneration. Regular yoga practises together with our cleanse and rejuvenative program will improve a person’s sense of well being, confidence and energy in their daily endeavour. Currently I am learning the iyengar yoga twice a week and because of my knee injury (both knees from an old injury since I was a teenager) I had limitation to do certain poses. But it did not deter me from learning other poses that I needed to stretch my spine. I felt that my knees are improving in terms of mobility with less pain and limitations especially when I am require to squat.  Again if you have any serious old injuries or suffers from any bone or muscles health issues such as sciatica, slipped Disc, recent surgery, recent injury – it is best to consult a qualified yoga teacher for advises on poses that are allowed at certain stages of your health issues. Whenever you are uncertain, check with a qualified practitioner on the related field (This is one example for my explanation for below when I mention about – the Blesmy of our intellect)
